If the customer requires further assistance or would like to speak with Health Protection regarding their complaint, cold transfer to Health Protection at extension 1827.
If the customer inquiry was sent via email, forward the email to ehl@durham.ca. It is crucial that email inquiries are triaged to Health Protection upon receipt as there is a 24-hour turnaround time requirement that must be adhered to (Ontario Public Health Standards).
Log the interaction in the Agent Portal.
Document customer as Anonymous.
Select Save and Close.
Select the Conversation Source (i.e., phone call, email, or in-person).
Under Conversation Contact Reason, select Human Services.
Under Interaction Category, select Health Protection.
Under Interaction Subcategory, select Pest Control Inquiry.
Add the details of the inquiry to the Description field ensure no personal health information is collected.
If all information has been gathered for the Interaction, select Save & Close.
