The Region of Durham is committed to providing excellent customer service by ensuring a respectful, equitable and harassment-free workplace and space for employees and customers. myDurham 311 is a single contact centre providing customers (residents, businesses, clients and visitors) with access to non-emergency Regional programs, services and information. Customers can create, track and monitor service requests, find information on Regional programs and services, and make payments. From reporting a missed garbage pick-up to finding information on hours of operation, we’re here to help.
The number 311 is a single three-digit telephone number for all non-emergency Regional inquiries, programs and services within Durham Region. Calling 311 will connect customers with the myDurham 311 Contact Centre.
Customers can obtain information and make service requests by calling 311 or visiting us online through the myDurham 311 customer portal at mydurham311.ca. Calls to 311 are answered by customer services representatives from the Region of Durham. Our representatives use an extensive knowledge base to respond to your inquiries and service requests about Regional government programs and services.
Any customer within the Region of Durham’s geographical boundaries can call 311, free of charge. Regular pay phone and cellular phone charges will apply.
Calling 311 means you don’t need to know which department or division provides a particular program or service and you don’t need to determine which phone number you need to call.
Customer Service Representatives are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The myDurham 311 Customer Portal is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

There is no charge for calling 311. Pay phone and cellular air time charges will apply. There are no additional service fees from your telephone service provider.
