Green Bin Inventory Purchase or Exchange Request

The purchase and exchange of Green Bin Inventory Purchase or Exchange Request can be submitted via this Service Request. Delivery of inventory can take up to 10 business days. Old broken Bins must be set out to complete your exchange.

  • Purchase Kitchen Containers ($4 each)
  • Purchase Composters ($30 each)
  • Exchange broken Kitchen Containers (free)
  • Exchange broken Green Bins (free)

Broken Bins must be same or similar as the new inventory item being exchanged. Broken Bins must be clean and empty, and set out at or near the front door. No exchange will take place if the broken Bin is not provided. Bins should be set out at the time the request is made and will be exchanged within 10 business days.

The Regional Municipality of Durham collects personal information through this request. It is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001, and will be used to process your request and payment.
